Latest News & Events: School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University will be offering its Executive Development Program in Puerto Rico

For the first time, the prestigious School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University will be offering its Executive Development Program in Puerto Rico. The program is aimed at up and coming managers in the hospitality industry and related businesses and is scheduled to begin in Spring 2012.

The program consists of two parts. The first part which takes 6 to 8 months to complete is a series of ten on-line courses monitored by Cornell University faculty. The second part consists of four classes taught by four Cornell University professors in a period of two weeks in Puerto Rico. We plan to hold the classes at the School of Hotel and Restaurant Administration at the University of Puerto Rico, Carolina.

We expect to divide the cost of the program among the Puerto Rico Tourism Company, the employer of the enrolled student and the Scholarship Foundation. We are seeking interested, committed and industrious hospitality and business managers who have a good command of the English language and are seeking educational opportunities for advancement within Puerto Rico’s hospitality industry.
